Psychotherapy for Women
Counseling for Women by a Registered Nurse, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. Cathy Armstrong RN, LPC-S offers women a safe place in the privacy on their own home or in a professional office setting for women to explore their thoughts, feelings, and belifs that keep them trapped. Cathy has over 40 years of combined mental health and psychiatric nursing experience.
Counseling and psychotherapy are intended to help change and correct a particular way of maladaptive thinking that causes distress, unhappiness, self-sabotage, and negative behavior patterns.
Cathy is an integrative and holistic Multi-Modal therapist that draws upon the works of Carl Jung, Milton Erickson, and Wellness Counseling Modalities. She believes that psychotherapy can make a difference by giving clients various tools to use to improve their lives and make necessary adaptions in their life to make room for happiness, peace of mind, and joy. Cathy incorporates hypnothearpy, NLP, and Mindfulness to help draw upon the creative and collective unconsiousness mind. She is a big fan of Carl Jung and Depth Therapy.
